Cupronickel alloy is another name for copper nickel alloy. UNS C71500, a copper-nickel alloy, offers a medium-high strength and good creep resistance at high temperatures.
This CuNi 70:30 alloy has good creep resistance at high temperatures, excellent corrosion resistance, and resistance to stress corrosion cracking. With a nickel content of 30%, C71500 is best suited for usage in conditions including high pressures, temperatures, and turbulence.
